Retro Advance Bookings: The excitement surrounding Suriya's upcoming Tamil romantic action film Retro continues to build as the film gears up for its worldwide release on May 1, 2025. According to a recent post by film industry tracker AB George on X (formerly Twitter), the advance bookings for Retro in Tamil Nadu have been impressive, with the film grossing ₹2.67 crore from 1,032 shows that have already opened online. This marks a very strong start for Suriya's film, and industry insiders are optimistic about its box office potential, especially given that it is one of the best openings for a Suriya-starrer in recent times.

Retro Cast And Crew

The film features Suriya in the role of Paarivel "Paari" Kannan, with Pooja Hegde playing the female lead, Rukmini "Rukku." The cast also includes Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Prakash Raj, and others.
