Retro Vs HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 2 Early Updates: The South film movie-lovers witnessed a major clash yesterday as they kickstarted May on a heart-racing note. On one side they got Nani's highly-anticipated 'HIT 3' (HIT: The Third Chapter) and on the other side, Suriya's much-awaited romantic-actioner 'Retro'. Amidst strong pre-release buzzes, both the films hit cinemas worldwide on May 1, 2025, and took the box office by storm. To note, both HIT 3 and Retro have been released in multiple languages.

After a shattering opening at the box office on Thursday, both Nani and Suriya's films witnessed a massive drop today. But who actually is leading the clash on 2nd day?

Retro Box Office Collection Day 2 Early Trends (Today)

Starring Siruya and Pooja Hegde in the lead, Retro left the audience impressed and opened to a solid collection of Rs 19.25 cr. Despite the solid opening, the movie has recorded a huge drop today.

As per Sacnilk, the movie has managed to mint around Rs 4.36 cr on Friday (day 2) till 9:40 PM, touching the Rs 23.61 cr net mark as of now.

HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 2 Early Trends (Today)

Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT 3, the third installment of the popular HIT franchise, stars Srinidhi Shetty as Nani's leading lady. The film opened to rave reviews from everyone and earned Rs 19 cr on its first day.

However, the action-thriller sequel recorded a massive dip in numbers on Friday (today) and as per the latest Sacnilk update, the film has managed to add around Rs 6.68 cr on day 2 till 9:40 PM. As of now, the total collection stands at Rs 27.68 cr.

The box office report card is pretty clear. Even though Nani's HIT 3 slightly lagged behind, almost non-noticeable, Retro on the opening day, it made the tables turn and took over the lead on day 2.

As of now, HIT 3 is running ahead of Surya's Retro by around Rs 4.07 cr. To note, this is just the second day and both the films have a long way to go.
