Retro Vs HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 3 Early Updates: South superstars Suriya and Nani locked horns at the box office this week with their respective highly-anticipated releases. Both Suriya's romantic actioner 'Retro' and Nani starrer HIT 3 (HIT: The Third Case) hit cinemas worldwide on May 1 (Thursday) and were released in multiple languages. After a smashing start, both Retro and HIT 3 were hit by the Friday slump. However, the movies have now gotten the weekend boost.

Retro Box Office Collection Day 3 Early Trends

Helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro, starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde in the lead, Retro kickstarted its theatrical journey on a solid note. Amid high expectations, the Tamil flick opened to a whopping collection Rs 19.25 cr, followed by Rs 7.75 cr on day 2. The total 2-day estimated numbers are reported to be at Rs 27 cr.

Day 1: ₹ 19.25 Cr

Day 2: ₹ 7.75 Cr

Total: ₹ 27 Cr

As per Sacnilk, the film has now picked up an upward trend and raked in around Rs 4.48 cr today (Saturday, day 3), till 8 PM, taking the total numbers to Rs 31.48 cr.

HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 3 Early Trends

Starring Nani in the lead, this Sailesh Kolanu directorial is a hit already. HIT 3, which marks the third installment of the popular 'HIT' franchise, saw a solid opening of Rs 21 cr. Even though the movie saw a 50% dip in numbers yesterday (Friday), it maintained a strong hold at ticket counters and added Rs 10.5 cr, taking the total collection to Rs 31.5 cr.

Day 1: ₹ 21 Cr

Day 2: ₹ 10.5 Cr

Total: ₹ 31.5 Cr

According to the real-time Sacnilk update, HIT 3 has raked in Rs 5.87 cr approx. on Saturday (today) till 8 PM. The total net earning is now estimated to be at Rs 37.47 cr.
