Shihan Hussaini Death Reason: Renowned Karate Instructor & Founder of TAAT Dies; Film Fraternity Mourns

Karate Coach Shihan Hussaini Death Reason: Popular Karate Instructor and founder of The Archery Association of Tamil Nadu (TAAT), Shihan Hussaini breathed his last on March 25 in Chennai. The Karate coach, who was also an Archer, was closely associated with the Kollywood and Tollywood industries and condolences are pouring in from every corner. At the age of 65, Hussaini lost his battle to Cancer and succumbed to the disease at his house in Besant Nagar, Chennai.

Shahin Hussaini was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called 'Aplastic Anaemia.' He underwent treatment for the condition but finally lost the battle. Hussaini was the coach for Pawan Kalyan, who is now the Dy CM of Andhra Pradesh and also is one of the Tollywood stars with a heavy fan following.

Shihan not only founded The Archery Association of Tamil Nadu but also held the position of general secretary for several years. He also acted in a couple of films after making his debut in the year 1986 with 'Punnagai Mannan.' He earned appreciation for the movie 'Badri.' His last film is yet to hit the screens and is titled 'Chennai City Gangsters.' He was part of Bloodstone, an English film, Velaikaran, Paravaigal Palavitham, Unnai Solli Kutramillai, Vedan, and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

Pawan Kalyan, who is also known as a power star by his fans in Tollywood, is a martial arts enthusiast. He is a professional, as reported and was trained by Hussaini in Karate, Kickboxing and other forms. Hussaini was also known for training about 400 people in Karate.

Shihan Hussaini Funeral

The family members of Shihan confirmed through a facebook post about the passing of the veteran and that the funeral procession will begin at their Besant Nagar home at 7 PM today. Shihan's well-wishers, relatives, and friends are visiting his house to pay their last respects.
