Shruthi Narayanan Casting Couch Video Row: Shruthi Narayanan has been garnering the attention after her video went viral which revolved around the casting couch culture within the Tamil industry. The Siragadikka Aasai-fame actress later took to her social media and addressed the controversy calling the leaked 14-minutes video 'AI-generated'. Now, days later another renowned actress Sanam Shetty posted a video of her addressing the issue while slamming the Tamil filmmakers for the 'rotten culture' within the industry. In the video, Sanam has also opened up about her own experience in the industry and addressed the issue while calling out the big names of Tamil industry.

Sanam Shetty Slams Tamil Filmmakers Amid Shruthi Narayanan Case

In the video, Sanam addressed the viral video iof Shruthi Narayanan first, urging common people to refrain themselves from sharing it, "The audition video of serial actress Shruti Narayan is going viral on the internet. If you have this video, do not share it. Those who are lustful and watch this video, I feel pity for them. This is not a personal matter. This is a planned act called a casting call, if you want a chance in a film, they will convince you to sleep with them. They will do anything in the video call. A famous director's manager has done everything they can to make what they want."

She further called out the deep-rooted nepotism in the industry and revealed how she lost many opportunities after refusing to what the filmmakers want, "When I see this, only one question comes to my mind. Will you ask for anything in the name of an audition? Will you be fine after earning the curse of so many women while making a film? Go and throw your film in the trash. On the one hand, we do not get the opportunity that the heirs of celebrities get. On the other hand, many actresses like me who do not engage in all these activities have lost their cinema opportunities."

She concluded lending support to Shruthi, "While we are blaming those who instigate this wrongdoing, we are blaming the people who committed this wrongdoing. But Shruti says that it is AI-generated. If it is her who is in this video, then she is the victim. Those involved should be punished. I have something to say to those in the Tamil film industry. Your film industry is in a state of disrepair. Please provide us with a safe environment," said Sanam Shetty.

Earlier Shruthi Narayanan addressed the controversy, with an emotional response on her Instagram story, she wrote, "For you guys, spreading all these contents on me it's just a joke and fun content.
