SK 23 Is Madharasi: Sivakarthikeyan-AR Murugadoss' Actioner Title Glimpse Intrigues With Dark & Violent Theme
SK 23 Is Now Called MADHARASI: The hyped collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan, who pushed his market and craze to a whole new level with the recent success of 'Amaran,' and filmmaker AR Murugadoss hit the headlines with the title teaser drop. Referred to as SK 23 and SK x ARM, the action entertainer is titled Madharasi. The makers of the film released the official title teaser to announce the same on February 17. They have also earmarked Rs 200 Crore for the production and Anirudh Ravichander is onboard for the music.
After joining the coveted club of actors in Kollywood with over Rs 335 Crore by the end of its theatrical run, Sivakarthikeyan officially sealed his position as the next 'BIG THING' as Thalapathy Vijay also announced his retirement. The actor-filmmaker is now keen on getting a image makeover as he is taking on roles with intensity and action backdrop. His collaboration with AR Murugadoss, who is helming Sikander with Salman Khan in Bollywood, raised the expectations manifold.
At first, the project was supposed to feature Thalapathy Vijay in AR Murugadoss' fourth collaboration with the superstar. However, the production banner refused to spare the quoted remuneration for AR Murugadoss as he delivered a flop (Darbar) before the commencement of Thalapathy 65, which later was released with a story by Nelson titled 'Beast.' Following this, Murugadoss approached Sivakarthikeyan, who greenlit the project which is currently in the crucial stage of production.
In the title teaser, Sivakarthikeyan looked rugged with overgrown beard and hair and is going to perform several action sequences, in the typical ARM style. His makeover and look built intrigue around Madharasi and the teaser soared expectations.
