Tamil Actor Rajesh Funeral Date: Veteran Tamil actor Rajesh, who passed away on May 29 at the age of 75, will be laid to rest on June 1, according to an official statement from his family as reported by Asianet News Tamil. The three-day gap between his passing and the final rites has been attributed to scheduling considerations, mainly to allow time for his daughter to return from Canada.

Rajesh had reportedly been unwell for the past few days. After experiencing acute breathing difficulties, he was being taken to Ramachandra Hospital by his family. According to reports, he developed a sudden respiratory complication at home and, unfortunately, passed away on the way to the hospital. His body has since been placed at his residence in Chennai's Ramapuram area for friends, family, and members of the public to pay their last respects. The late actor's funeral will be held in Kilpauk, Chennai, on Sunday.

A number of political leaders and film personalities have visited the family to express their condolences. Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, along with several ministers, paid homage at the actor's residence. Members of the film fraternity also conveyed their sympathies, recalling Rajesh's long-standing presence in Tamil cinema and television.
