TEST OTT Release Date: Tamil sports drama Test, directed by S. Sashikanth in his directorial debut, is set for release on Netflix. Co-written by Sashikanth and Suman Kumar, the film is produced under the YNOT Studios banner alongside Chakravarthy Ramachandra. It features a cast that includes R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine-who returns to Tamil cinema after a decade-along with Kaali Venkat, Nassar, and Vinay Varma in key roles.

Announced in April 2023, Test began filming the same month, with production taking place in Chennai and Bengaluru until January 2024. The film's technical crew includes music composer Shakthisree Gopalan, cinematographer Viraj Singh Gohil, and editor T. S. Suresh.

Instead of a theatrical release, Test will premiere directly on Netflix on April 4, 2025, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The film is based on an original story by Suman Kumar, known for his work on The Family Man. Playback singer Shakthisree Gopalan makes her debut as a music composer for the film. The first single, Arena, was released on March 10, 2025, followed by the second single, Hope, on March 20, 2025.

The cast also includes Kaali Venkat as Saravanan's friend, Nassar, Vinay Varma, Aadukalam Murugadoss, and M. J. Shriram. Ajit Koshy plays Arjun's coach in the film.
