Thalapathy 69 Is Bhagavanth Kesari Remake! Before plunging completely into public welfare through his political agenda, Thalapathy Vijay has announced one last film after Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' and Venkat Prabhu's 'The Greatest of All Time (GOAT).' Referred to as Thalapathy 69, the movie is currently looking for a director and other cast and crew to go on the floors.

An exciting update of sorts about Thalapathy 69 is shaking the internet. Kollywood actor VTV Ganesh spilt the beans about the movie in an absolutely connectionless event that happened in Hyderabad on January 12. He went on to publicly talk about how Thalapathy Vijay liked the 'Bhagavanth Kesari' movie and watched it five times.

Nandamuri Balakrishna-Anil Ravipudi's Bhagavanth Kesari
Tollywood's one of the fewest no-failure filmmakers Anil Ravipudi's first collaboration with Nandamuri Balakrishna is Bhagavanth Kesari, which was released in 2024. Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela are the two leading ladies of the movie and NBK shed his usual image and mass avatar to play a convincing role which showcased his acting capabilities even otherwise. The message-oriented movie was a box-office success.

Anil Ravipudi Turns Down Thalapathy 69 Offer

On the same occasion, VTV Ganesh also mentioned that Vijay asked Anil Ravipudi to helm the remake but rejected it stating that he wouldn't want to direct a remake even if it is his film. As the event's host tried to dissuade him from talking about Thalapathy Vijay and his 69th film, VTV insisted that he finish his speech.

He also heaped praise on Anil Ravipudi after watching Bhagavanth Kesari after Vijay's incident. Ironically, VTV Ganesh is also part of Bhagavanth Kesari's cast. Meanwhile, Vijay is actively involved in progressing his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (VTK), the buzz around Thalapathy 69 is low-key currently.

On the other hand, Anil Ravipudi is back in the Sankranthi race with another family entertainer starring Venkatesh in his hattrick collaboration. Titled Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, the movie featuring Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary is going to hit the screens on January 14. Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj directed by Bobby Kolli was released worldwide on January 12.
