The Smile Man OTT Release: Featuring R Sarathkumar as the protagonist, Kollywood's recent crime-thriller titled The Smile Man made its much-awaited digital streaming debut on January 24. The movie is another thriller that revolves around a serial killer known as the Smile Man. The movie was released theatrically to a mixed response in December last year.

Upon its theatrical release, Sarathkumar's thriller was billed as a routine serial killer movie with critics calling out the lack of emotional connect and non-engrossing narration. The protagonist has only a year to solve the case and identify the killer who cuts his victim's mouth. While the actor relentlessly tries to save the movie with his acting chops, the lack of any purpose for the film makes it a tedious watch, as per the critics.
