According to a report published in Sacnilk, Thug Life, which made an opening day collection of Rs 15.5 crores, saw a dip of 54% on second day. Reportedly, the movie minted Rs 7.13 crores on day 2 (first Friday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 22.63 crores

Thug Life Fails To Beat Indian 2

To note, Thug Life minted less than half of Indian 2's collection on day 2. For the uninitiated, Indian 2 had minted Rs 18.2 crores on its second day of release.

Meanwhile, during an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, Kamal Haasan opened up on why it took him almost 4 decades to reunite with Mani Ratnam and stated, "It is that college reunion, they go about minding their business, suddenly they realize you've not met your old friend who could enhance your business, even why didn't I think of it kind of thing. They want to do that, but work keeps them away, and then one day, all of them plan and come together. That's what happened in this, it's as simple as that".
