Actually not. Sakthivel did not die. As he went to Mount Kailash, seeking peace, Amaran was planning to take Sakthivel's life. Amaran believed he had killed Sakthivel, but he survived the fall. He returned to Amaran's life 2 years later.

Sakthivel Discovers Amaran's Sister

After the deadly fall, Sakthivel was saved by a doctor named Chandra. Sakthivel later found out that Chandra is Amaran's sister whom he lost during the shootout.

Did Amaran & Chandra Unite In The End?

Amaran and Chandra were about to reunite in the end after a one-on-one fight with Sakthivel, but Sadanand shoots Amaran.
