Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the opening worldwide box office collection of Tourist Family in dollars. He mentioned that the Tamil managed to set the cash registers jingling in the overseas markets.

The trade analyst stated that Tourist Family is expected to witness good footfalls in the second week as the screens have been increased in different markets.

According to the latest data shared by Sacnilk, Tourist Family earned Rs 1.9 crore on Tuesday (May 6). As per the early estimates, the film has raked in Rs 14.6 crore in the first six days in India.

The final data will be released by the makers and Sacnilk on Wednesday. Considering its decent numbers and budget, the film is already on its path to becoming a successful affair.

TOURIST FAMILY OTT RELEASE DATE, PLATFORM

While the makers have remained tight-lipped about the OTT premiere date of the film, gossip mills suggest that JioHotstar has bagged the exclusive digital rights of Tourist Family for a premium amount.

According to a report in Economic Times, Tourist Family is expected to premiere on JioHotstar after the four-week window period is over. Unlike Bollywood films, South films usually premiere online on streaming platforms after the completion of four weeks in theatres.

No official announcement has been made in this regard; however, reports claimed that the movie might release on OTT on May 31, 2025. Fans have to wait for an official confirmation as things are subject to change.
