Tourist Family was officially announced as an untitled project in September 2024, with its title confirmed later that December. It is a joint production by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, with Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan serving as producers.
