Veera Dheera Sooran: Hit Or Flop? Tamil cinema fans have a reason to cheer as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, an action thriller starring Vikram, hits theaters on March 27, 2025. Directed by S. U. Arun Kumar and produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures, the film boasts a stellar cast, including S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique. Interestingly, despite being a sequel, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1 is yet to go into production.

Initially announced in October 2023 as Chiyaan 62, the film received its official title in April 2024. Filming began the same month and wrapped up by mid-November 2024. With music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Theni Eswar, and editing by Prasanna GK, the film is released in both standard and EPIQ formats.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 follows Kaali, a humble provision store owner and devoted family man, who gets caught in a perilous crime network while on a mysterious mission.

Vikram stars as Kaali, while S. J. Suryah takes on the role of SP A. Arunagiri IPS. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays Kannan, and Dushara Vijayan portrays Kalaivaani, Kaali's wife. The ensemble cast also includes Siddique, Prudhvi Raj as Periyavar, Ramesh Indhira, Pavel Navageethan, Anitha Sampath, Baalaji S. U, Sreeja Ravi, and Parvathi T.

Directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar and is produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures. Theni Eswar ISC handles cinematography, while Prasanna GK takes charge of editing and C. S. Balachandar oversees art direction. Associate producers Rony Zachariah, Raja Subramanian, and Sunil Shah contribute to the film's production.
