Veteran Tamil Producer M Ramanathan, Former Manager Of Actor Sathyaraj, Passes Away At 72

M Ramanathan Dies: Veteran Tamil producer M. Ramanathan, who ran production banner under the name Raj Films International, died at the age of 72. The film personality passed away owing to his ill health. Before his production house, Ramanathan has worked under Baahubali-fame Sathyaraj as his manager for many years. The producer bankrolled films like Udbirappu, Villathi Villain, Nadigan, Vallal, Vaathiyar Veetupillai, among others where Sathyaraj played the lead role. According to the reports, the producer passed away on Monday morning.
M Ramanathan's Cause Of Death & Funeral Update
M Ramanathan has been suffering health issues for the last couple of days and he was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai owing to the same. However, on April 7, the veteran breathed his last in the same hospital.
The funeral of the film personality will be held on Wednesday in Chennai where the last rites of the veteran will be performed.

Apart from films like Udbirappu, Villathi Villain, Nadigan, Vallal, Vaathiyar Veetupillai, M Ramanathan is celebrated for his film Tamilchelvan, which was bankrolled by him and directed by Bharathiraja, starring Vijayakanth in the lead role.
The producer is survived by his wife Pramila and two daughters, Karunya and Saranya, who lives in abroad. According to the reports, the last rites will be taken place after they come to Chennai.
M Ramanathan's death news came after two another death news in the Tamil industry. Last month Bharathi Raja's son Manoj K. Bharathi passed away due to heart attack, which came as a shock to everyone. A few days later, Tamil actor Ramkumar passed away which again shocked everyone. Now, M Ramanthan's death in few days has caused a state of mourning in the film industry.
