Vidaamuyarchi Tamil Nadu Bookings On Fire: Ajith's upcoming exciting racy action drama written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni is titled Vidaamuyarchi. The movie which is one of the prestigious films in Ajith's career is referred to as AK 61 and stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, bringing together the lead pair for the sixth time.

Vidaamuyarchi is the official remake of a Hollywood film called Breakdown by Jonathan Mostow, released in 1997. Passionate filmmaker Subaskaran Allirajah is funding this actioner on a budget of about Rs 330 Crore. The movie's digital streaming rights have also been sold to the leading OTT giant Netflix. The official announcement of the film's theatrical release date is expected shortly as it moved out of the recent Pongal race.

The theatrical trailer which was released a week ago raised expectations and fans are going gaga over Ajith's various looks in it. The movie acquired a U/A censor certificate and has a runtime of 150 minutes and 46 seconds.

The advance booking sales in Tamil Nadu opened amid hype and anticipation. Fans are going gaga over securing as many tickets as possible for the premiere, opening show, and first day shows. Going by the available information online, Vidaamuyarchi will surely hit over Rs 30 Crore on the release day in Tamil Nadu alone.

Vidaamuyarchi Synopsis
The protagonist enters a dangerous desert looking for his missing ex-wife. In his search, he faces battles for survival and a web of challenges posed by a gangster and the dark underworld.
