Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release: Vidaamuyarchi, a Tamil action thriller written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, hit theaters on February 6, 2025. Inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown, the movie is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the Lyca Productions banner. Featuring a talented cast led by Ajith Kumar, Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian, Vidaamuyarchi has garnered attention for its intense storyline and star power.

Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for Vidaamuyarchi. The film will be available for streaming starting March 3, 2025, in Tamil, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Vidaamuyarchi Storyline

Arjun, a Chennai-based professional, and Kayal, a native of Tbilisi, reconnect during a vacation and later get engaged. Their marriage faces strain after a miscarriage and Kayal's affair. While driving to her parents' home for a divorce, they encounter a dangerous group, leading to a thrilling sequence of kidnapping, betrayal, and suspense. Arjun fights against criminals to rescue Kayal, ultimately bringing them back together.

Vidaamuyarchi features a star-studded cast led by Ajith Kumar as Arjun M., Trisha Krishnan as Kayal Arjun (voiced by Krithika Nelson), and Arjun Sarja as Rakshith. Other notable performances include Regina Cassandra as Deepika "Deeps" Rakshith (voiced by Andrea Jeremiah), Arav as Michael, Nikhil Sajith, Dasarathi, Ganesh Saravanan, and others as members of Rakshith's gang. Ravi Raghavendra plays the psychiatrist, while Ramya Subramanian portrays Anu. Supporting roles include Jeeva Ravi as Kayal's father, Kazim Abdullayev as Jabbar, Sveta Hakimova as Omar's mother, and many more.

Vidaamuyarchi was directed by Magizh Thirumeni, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film featured Om Prakash ISC as the Director of Photography and editing by NB Srikanth. Milan served as the art director, while Supreme Sundar handled the stunts and Kalyan choreographed the dance sequences. The costume design was by Anu Vardhan, with lyrics written by Vishnu Edavan, Arivu, Amogh Balaji, and Mohan Raja.
