Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release: Ajith Kumar's Tamil action thriller Vidaamuyarchi had its worldwide release on February 6, 2025. Helmed by Magizh Thirumeni and backed by Subaskaran Allirajah under the Lyca Productions banner, the film boasts an impressive cast, featuring Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav.

Following its theatrical run, Vidaamuyarchi will be available for streaming on Netflix. The platform confirmed on January 15 that the film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Sharing the news on social media, Netflix wrote, "Ajith Kumar is back, proving why Vidaamuyarchi never fails! Vidaamuyarchi is coming to Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi after its theatrical release! (sic)" However, the official date for the film's digital premiere has not yet been announced.

Vidaamuyarchi Storyline

A chance encounter during a vacation brings Arjun and Kayal together, culminating in marriage and a new beginning in Baku. However, as the years go by, their relationship becomes strained, gradually pulling them apart. Just as they reach a crossroads, an unexpected crisis puts Kayal in jeopardy, forcing Arjun to undertake a daring mission to save her.

Vidaamuyarchi Cast and Crew

Ajith Kumar leads Vidaamuyarchi as Arjun M., with Trisha Krishnan playing his wife, Kayal, whose voice is dubbed by Chinmayi. Arjun Sarja portrays Rakshith, also known as Dheeraj, while Regina Cassandra appears as Deepika, Rakshith's wife. The ensemble cast includes Arav as Michael, Nikhil Nair as Nikhil, and Dasarathi, Ganesh Saravanan, and Tural Ahmed as members of Rakshith's gang. Supporting roles feature Ravi Raghavendra as a psychiatrist, Jeeva Ravi and Sandhya Janak as Kayal's parents, and Ramya Subramanian as her friend, Anu. Vidadi Hasanov plays Omar, with Vusala Agayeva as his wife, while Javanshir Hadiyev appears as a police officer and Vetri Kiran as Deepika's father.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash ISC, and editing by NB Srikanth. Art direction is led by Milan, with Supreme Sundar handling action choreography and Kalyan overseeing dance sequences. Costume design is by Anu Vardhan, still photography by G. Anand Kumar, and publicity design by Gopi Prasanna. VFX supervision is managed by Hariharasuthan, while Prasath Somasekar is responsible for DI color grading.

Produced under the Lyca Productions banner, Vidaamuyarchi is backed by Subaskaran, with Subramanian Narayanan serving as executive producer and Suresh Chandra managing promotions as PRO. J. Girinathan and K. Jeyaseelan oversee production.
