Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Collection Prediction: Ajith Kumar's Tamil action thriller Vidaamuyarchi premiered worldwide on February 6, 2025. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the Lyca Productions banner, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav.

According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by film industry tracker Devanayagam, Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi was made on a total budget of ₹255 crore, including ₹25 crore paid to Paramount for the remake rights of Breakdown. Since Lyca Productions is handling the film's own release, it reportedly needs to recover at least ₹150 crore from theatrical earnings worldwide. However, with a significant drop in collections on day two, Lyca is expected to face an estimated loss of ₹90-100 crore.

Meanwhile, as per a post by AndhraBoxOffice.Com on X, Vidaamuyarchi saw a sharp decline in collections on its second day. By 4 PM, excluding offline sales, Tamil Nadu's earnings stood at ₹2.34 crore (down from ₹8.54 crore on day one). Across India, the film grossed ₹2.87 crore from 2,717 shows (down from its opening day figure of ₹11.80 crore).

Vidaamuyarchi Storyline

A chance vacation meeting brings Arjun and Kayal together, leading to marriage and a fresh start in Baku. However, as the years pass, their relationship faces growing challenges, causing them to drift apart. Just when they reach a turning point, an unforeseen crisis places Kayal in danger, compelling Arjun to embark on a daring mission to rescue her.

Vidaamuyarchi Cast and Crew

Ajith Kumar headlines Vidaamuyarchi as Arjun M., with Trisha Krishnan portraying his wife, Kayal, voiced by Chinmayi. Arjun Sarja takes on the role of Rakshith, also known as Dheeraj, while Regina Cassandra plays Deepika, Rakshith's wife. The ensemble cast includes Arav as Michael, Nikhil Nair as Nikhil, and Dasarathi, Ganesh Saravanan, and Tural Ahmed as members of Rakshith's gang. Supporting roles feature Ravi Raghavendra as a psychiatrist, Jeeva Ravi and Sandhya Janak as Kayal's parents, and Ramya Subramanian as her friend, Anu. Vidadi Hasanov appears as Omar, with Vusala Agayeva as his wife, while Javanshir Hadiyev plays a police officer and Vetri Kiran portrays Deepika's father.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Om Prakash ISC, with editing by NB Srikanth. Milan leads art direction, Supreme Sundar choreographs action sequences, and Kalyan handles dance choreography. Costume design is by Anu Vardhan, G. Anand Kumar captures stills, and Gopi Prasanna manages publicity design. VFX is overseen by Hariharasuthan, with DI color grading by Prasath Somasekar.
