Blast Advance Booking Opens: Advance bookings for the upcoming Tamil action thriller Blast have officially opened ahead of its theatrical release on May 28, 2026. The makers shared the update through their social media handles, confirming that ticket sales have begun.

Directed by Subash K Raj, Blast features Arjun Sarja in the lead role alongside Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami. The film is backed by AGS Entertainment and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release later this week.

Blast Story, Cast And Crew Details

According to the synopsis released by the production team, the story revolves around a middle-class family with expertise in martial arts whose lives take a dangerous turn after they encounter a violent criminal gang. The family is then drawn into a conflict that pushes them into a fight for survival. The film is expected to combine action, emotional drama and suspense elements.

The project has drawn attention for bringing together Arjun, often referred to by fans as "Action King," and music composer Ravi Basrur, who is known for his work in several large-scale South Indian films in recent years. The film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan and editor Pradeep E Ragav.

Blast has been written and directed by Subash K Raj. The action choreography has been handled by Phoenix Prabhu, while Veeramani Ganesan has worked as the production designer. Costume design for the film has been done by Dinesh Manoharan.

The production is led by producers Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner. Archana Kalpathi serves as the creative producer, with Aishwarya Kalpathi attached as associate creative producer. SM Venkat Manickam is the executive producer for the film.
