Blast Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Blast, starring Arjun, Preity Mukundhan, and Abhirami, began its theatrical run on May 28, 2026. Directed by Subash K. Raj and backed by AGS Entertainment, the film recorded a modest start at the Indian box office on its opening day.

According to trade tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast earned an estimated ₹1 crore net in India on Day 1. The film was screened across 1,022 shows on its opening day and registered an overall occupancy of around 26 percent. With this, the movie's India gross collection stands at approximately ₹1.15 crore, while the net collection remains ₹1 crore after its first day in theatres.

Since Day 2 collections are currently in progress on May 29, the coming days are expected to provide a clearer picture of the film's box office trajectory.

Blast : Storyline, Cast, and Crew

Blast revolves around a middle-class family with expertise in martial arts whose lives take an unexpected turn after an encounter with a dangerous criminal gang. What begins as an ordinary life soon develops into a high-stakes conflict, forcing the family members to rely on their skills and unity to survive. The narrative combines action sequences with emotional and dramatic elements as the characters face escalating threats.

The film features veteran actor Arjun in a leading role alongside Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami.
