Blast Box Office Collection Day 18: Arjun, Abhirami And Preity Mukhundhan's Film Nears ₹47 Crore India Net
Blast Box Office Collection Day 18: The theatrical run of Blast continued through its third weekend with the Tamil martial arts thriller recording another day of steady collections. Starring Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the film has remained in cinemas since its release on May 28 and has crossed the ₹46 crore mark in India net earnings.

According to box office figures reported by tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast collected an estimated ₹2.65 crore net in India on Day 18, which fell on Sunday, June 14. The film was screened across 2,038 shows and registered an overall occupancy of 27.5%.
With the latest addition, the film's total India net collection has reached approximately ₹46.65 crore. Its India gross collection currently stands at around ₹53.64 crore after eighteen days in theatres.
The overseas market has also contributed to the film's overall performance. Blast has earned an estimated ₹14.05 crore in overseas gross collections so far. Combining domestic and international revenue, the film's worldwide gross collection has climbed to approximately ₹67.69 crore.
The film opened with ₹1.25 crore on its first day before witnessing growth over its opening weekend. It completed its first week with an India net collection of ₹25.78 crore. During the second week, the film added another ₹14.66 crore to its tally.
In its third weekend, Blast collected ₹1.30 crore on Day 16, followed by ₹2.26 crore on Day 17 and ₹2.65 crore on Day 18. The latest figures indicate that the film continued to draw audiences over the weekend despite being in its third week of release.
Tamil remained the film's dominant language market on Day 18. The Tamil version contributed approximately ₹2.45 crore net from 1,732 shows while recording 29% occupancy. The Telugu version added around ₹0.20 crore net from 306 shows.
Blast Cast, Story And Crew
Directed by Subash K. Raj in his feature-film debut, Blast is a martial arts thriller produced by AGS Entertainment. The film stars Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in lead roles, with John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa appearing in supporting roles.
The story follows Rajaram, a karate practitioner whose quiet family life is disrupted after he and his family become targets of a powerful corporate group. As tensions escalate, they are forced to rely on their martial arts skills to defend themselves and confront the threat against them.
The film's technical team includes music composer Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan, editor Pradeep E. Ragav and production designer Veeramani Ganesan. The project has been produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner.
With Day 19 collections now underway on June 15, industry observers will be watching whether Blast can continue its run and move past the ₹70 crore worldwide gross milestone in the coming days.
