Blast Box Office Collection Day 20: The Tamil martial arts thriller Blast continued its theatrical run into its third week, adding another ₹0.88 crore to its domestic total on Day 20. Starring Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in lead roles, the film has maintained a steady presence at the box office since its release on May 28, 2026.

Blast Day 20 Box Office Close To 70 Cr Worldwide

According to figures reported by box office tracking website Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹0.88 crore net in India on its twentieth day in theatres. The collection came from 1,923 shows across the country.

With the latest addition, Blast has accumulated approximately ₹48.46 crore in India net collections. Its India gross earnings currently stand at around ₹55.70 crore. The film has also registered a notable contribution from overseas markets, where it has grossed an estimated ₹14.05 crore so far.

Combining domestic and international earnings, the worldwide gross collection of Blast has reached approximately ₹69.75 crore after 20 days in theatres. As Day 21 collections are currently underway on June 17, the film is now within reach of the ₹70 crore milestone globally.

The film's theatrical journey has seen periods of stability, particularly during weekends. After closing its first week with ₹25.78 crore in India net collections, Blast added another ₹14.66 crore during its second week. The third weekend also delivered a noticeable boost, with collections rising from ₹1.30 crore on Friday to ₹2.26 crore on Saturday and ₹2.65 crore on Sunday before settling at ₹0.93 crore on Monday and ₹0.88 crore on Tuesday.

Language-wise, the Tamil version remains the primary contributor to the film's earnings. On Day 20, the Tamil release generated ₹0.77 crore, while the Telugu version added ₹0.11 crore.

About Blast

Directed by Subash K. Raj in his feature-film debut, Blast is a martial arts action thriller produced by AGS Entertainment. The story revolves around Rajaram, a karate practitioner whose quiet family life is disrupted after he and his family become targets of a powerful corporate syndicate. As the threat escalates, the family is forced to rely on their martial arts skills to defend themselves and confront the forces working against them.

Apart from Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the cast includes John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa in important roles. The film features music composed by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.

With Day 21 collections currently underway, attention will now turn to whether the film can cross the ₹70 crore worldwide mark in the coming days.
