Blast Box Office Collection Day 22: Arjun, Abhirami And Preity Mukhundhan's Film Nears ₹72 Cr Worldwide

Blast Box Office Collection: The Tamil martial arts thriller Blast continues its theatrical run more than three weeks after its release, maintaining a presence in cinemas as it progresses through its fourth week. Starring Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the film has gradually added to its box office total since opening on May 28, 2026.

Blast Day 22 Box Office Film Nears 72 Cr Worldwide

According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast collected ₹0.75 crore net in India on its 22nd day in theatres. The film was screened across 1,817 shows on Thursday, June 18. With Day 23 collections currently underway on June 19, the movie has moved closer to the ₹50 crore mark in terms of domestic net earnings.

According to Sacnilk, the film's total India net collection stands at ₹49.95 crore after 22 days. Its India gross collection has reached approximately ₹57.40 crore. Overseas markets have also contributed to the film's overall performance, with international earnings totaling around ₹14.05 crore gross. This takes the movie's worldwide gross collection to an estimated ₹71.45 crore.

The film opened with ₹1.25 crore on its first day and recorded stronger numbers over its opening weekend. Its first week ended with a cumulative India net collection of ₹25.78 crore. During the second week, Blast added another ₹14.66 crore, while the third week contributed ₹9.51 crore to its overall domestic total.

Although collections have slowed compared to the initial weeks, the film has continued to draw audiences in its primary markets. On Day 22, the Tamil version remained the major contributor, generating ₹0.66 crore of the day's earnings from 1,516 shows. The Telugu version added ₹0.09 crore from 301 shows. Occupancy levels were reported at approximately 14 percent for both language versions.

Blast Story, Cast and Crew

Directed by debut filmmaker Subash K. Raj and produced by AGS Entertainment, Blast is built around a family caught in a dangerous conflict involving a powerful corporate network. The story follows Rajaram, a karate practitioner whose quiet life with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila is disrupted when they find themselves targeted by a criminal group. As events escalate, the family is forced to rely on their martial arts training to protect themselves and confront the threat.

Alongside Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the film also features John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa in key roles. The music has been composed by Ravi Basrur, while Arun Radhakrishnan handled cinematography and Pradeep E. Ragav served as editor.

As Blast continues its fourth-week run, trade observers will be monitoring whether the film can move beyond the ₹50 crore India net milestone and add further to its worldwide box office total.
