Blast Box Office Collection Day 4: Arjun, Preity Mukundhan, And Abhirami's Film Crosses ₹21 Crore Worldwide

Blast Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Blast, starring Arjun, Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami, witnessed a significant jump in collections on its first Sunday as the film completed four days in theatres. Directed by Subash K. Raj and produced by AGS Entertainment, the movie was released worldwide on May 28, 2026.

According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast collected an estimated ₹6 crore net in India on Day 4 (Sunday). The latest figures indicate that the film has shown steady growth over its opening weekend after a relatively modest start on Thursday.

With the Day 4 earnings added, the film's total India net collection stands at approximately ₹13.95 crore. Its India gross collection has reached ₹16.03 crore. The film collected ₹1.50 crore from overseas markets on Sunday. This has pushed its overseas total to ₹5.55 crore, taking the worldwide gross collection to around ₹21.58 crore after four days.

The film's collections increased steadily over the weekend, with Sunday emerging as its highest-grossing day so far. The film opened with ₹1.25 crore net on Day 1 before increasing to ₹2.15 crore on Friday. Collections rose further to ₹4.55 crore on Saturday, followed by its highest single-day total of ₹6 crore on Sunday.

Occupancy levels also reflected the upward trend. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 21.5 percent on its opening day, which increased to 28.5 percent on Friday, 39.6 percent on Saturday and 46.3 percent on Sunday. The number of shows expanded during the same period, rising from 1,728 on Day 1 to 2,706 on Day 4.

On Sunday, the Tamil version contributed ₹5.15 crore net with an occupancy of 57 percent across 1,879 shows. The Telugu version added ₹0.85 crore net from 827 shows, registering an occupancy of 22 percent.

With Day 5 collections currently underway, attention will be on the film's performance during the weekdays following its opening weekend.
