Blast Box Office Collection Day 5: Arjun, Preity Mukundhan And Abhirami's Film Crosses ₹26 Crore Worldwide
Blast Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Blast continued its theatrical run with steady collections on its fifth day at the box office. Starring Arjun, Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami in key roles, the film was released in cinemas on May 28, 2026, and has now completed five days on the big screen. As of June 2, the film has entered its sixth day in theatres.

According to figures reported by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Blast earned an estimated ₹3.60 crore net in India on Day 5 (Monday). The film was screened across 2,707 shows nationwide and recorded an overall occupancy of around 30 percent.
With the latest additions, the film's total India net collection has reached approximately ₹17.55 crore. Its India gross collection currently stands at ₹20.17 crore after five days of theatrical exhibition.
The film also continued to contribute from overseas markets. Sacnilk reported that Blast collected around ₹0.75 crore overseas on its fifth day, taking its international gross total to ₹6.30 crore. Combining domestic and overseas earnings, the movie's worldwide gross collection has touched an estimated ₹26.47 crore so far.
A closer look at the film's day-wise performance shows growth over the opening weekend before settling into weekday numbers. The film opened with ₹1.25 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹2.15 crore on Friday. Collections increased further over the weekend, with Saturday bringing in ₹4.55 crore and Sunday emerging as the strongest day with ₹6 crore. After peaking on Sunday, collections declined to ₹3.60 crore on Monday, though the figure remained higher than the film's opening-day collection.
The Tamil version continued to drive the majority of the business on Day 5. The language contributed approximately ₹3 crore net with an occupancy of 35 percent across 1,863 shows. Meanwhile, the Telugu version added about ₹0.60 crore net from 844 shows and registered occupancy of around 19 percent.
Blast Story, Cast and Crew Details
Directed by Subash K. Raj and backed by AGS Entertainment, Blast revolves around a middle-class family trained in martial arts whose lives are disrupted after they come into conflict with a dangerous criminal gang. The story follows their struggle for survival as they face escalating threats and are drawn into a violent confrontation.
Apart from Arjun, Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami, the film features John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, and Pawan Krishnaa in key roles. The technical team includes music composer Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan and editor Pradeep E. Ragav.
With its sixth day currently in progress, attention will now shift to how Blast performs during the remainder of the week and whether it can maintain momentum ahead of its second weekend at the box office.
