Blast OTT Release Update: When And Where To Watch Arjun, Abhirami And Preity Mukhundhan's Film Online
Blast OTT Release Update: The Tamil action thriller Blast continues its theatrical journey after arriving in cinemas on May 28, 2026. Headlined by Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the film marked the directorial debut of filmmaker Subash K. Raj and was released under the banner of AGS Entertainment. While the movie remains available in theatres, discussions have now shifted toward its expected digital release, with several reports suggesting that its streaming debut could be around the corner.

Blast revolves around Rajaram, a karate practitioner leading a quiet life with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila. The family, united not only by their close bond but also by their martial arts expertise, finds itself caught in an escalating conflict involving a powerful corporate syndicate. As circumstances push them into dangerous territory, they are forced to rely on their skills to protect themselves and confront a growing threat.
The film blends action sequences with a family-centric narrative and environmental themes. Arjun plays the central role, while Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan feature in key parts. The supporting cast includes John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa, among others.
The music has been composed by Ravi Basrur, while Arun Radhakrishnan handled cinematography. Editing was overseen by Pradeep E. Ragav, with action choreography by Phoenix Prabhu. The film was produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under AGS Entertainment.
Blast OTT Release: Platform And Streaming Date Reports
As is often the case with major theatrical releases, attention has gradually turned to the film's OTT prospects. Although the makers have not yet officially confirmed the streaming details, multiple reports indicate that Blast is likely to make its digital debut on Netflix. According to these reports, the film could begin streaming from June 25, 2026.
If the reported plans materialize, viewers may be able to watch Blast in several language options, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. However, audiences should note that neither the platform nor the release date has been formally announced by the production house or the streaming service as of June 16, 2026.
Until an official confirmation is issued, the reported OTT release remains speculative. For now, Blast continues its run on the big screen, with audiences still having the opportunity to experience the martial arts thriller in theatres before its anticipated move to the digital space.
