Blast Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 17 Update: The Tamil martial arts thriller Blast, starring Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, continues its theatrical run nearly three weeks after release. According to the latest box office figures shared by tracker Jerin Georgekutty, the film's worldwide gross has reached approximately ₹69.26 crore after 17 days in cinemas.

The film, directed by debutant filmmaker Subash K. Raj and produced by AGS Entertainment, was released on May 28, 2026. Since its release, it has collected revenue across multiple markets, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, the Telugu states and overseas territories.
In an update posted on X on June 14, Jerin Georgekutty reported that Blast had accumulated an estimated ₹55.06 crore from domestic markets by the end of its 17-day run. According to the figures shared by the tracker, Tamil Nadu contributed the highest share of the film's domestic collections at around ₹27.28 crore. Kerala contributed an estimated ₹14.31 crore, while the Telugu-speaking states added approximately ₹8.56 crore. Karnataka accounted for around ₹4.70 crore, with the rest of India contributing roughly ₹21 lakh.
The tracker further estimated the film's overseas earnings at approximately $1.49 million, which translates to around ₹14.20 crore. Based on these figures, the worldwide gross was placed at about ₹69.26 crore.
The language-wise domestic breakdown shared in the update indicated collections of around ₹45.73 crore from the Tamil version and ₹9.33 crore from the Telugu version.
Jerin Georgekutty's post also included estimates related to the film's financial performance. According to the tracker, Blast was made on a reported budget of ₹18 crore and had a theatrical breakeven value of ₹9 crore. The update estimated the worldwide share at approximately ₹31.56 crore, while theatrical recovery was placed at around 350.66 percent.

Blast revolves around Rajaram, a karate practitioner who leads a quiet life with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila. Both family members are trained in martial arts, and their routine existence changes when they find themselves in conflict with a powerful corporate group led by Varun Dayalan and his associate Abraham. As tensions escalate, the family is forced to rely on their skills to protect themselves and confront the threats around them.
Apart from Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the film also features John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram and Pawan Krishnaa in important roles. The project is written and directed by Subash K. Raj, while the music has been composed by Ravi Basrur. Cinematography is handled by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Pradeep E Ragav.
With Day 18 currently underway on June 14, industry watchers will be monitoring whether Blast can move past the ₹70 crore worldwide milestone in the coming days.
