Blast Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 5: Arjun, Preity Mukundhan & Abhirami's Film Nears Rs 30 Crore Mark

Blast Worldwide Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Blast, starring Arjun, Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami, continued its theatrical run with steady collections during its first week in cinemas. Released on May 28, 2026, the film has now completed five days at the worldwide box office and is reportedly approaching the Rs 30 crore milestone globally.

Blast WW Collection Day 5 Nears Rs 30 Crore

According to trade tracker Jerin Georgekutty, Blast collected around Rs 28.29 crore worldwide by the end of Day 5. The figures were shared through an update posted on X on June 2, while the film entered its sixth day in theatres.

The film's domestic total reportedly stands at Rs 21.63 crore. Tamil Nadu contributed the biggest share with approximately Rs 11.46 crore. Kerala added Rs 4.05 crore, while the Telugu states contributed around Rs 3.84 crore. Karnataka collections were said to be Rs 2.14 crore, with the remaining Indian territories adding close to Rs 14 lakh.

Overseas markets also added to the film's overall performance. The tracker reported that Blast earned nearly $702K internationally, which converts to roughly Rs 6.66 crore in Indian currency.

The language-wise domestic breakdown showed Tamil collections at around Rs 17.40 crore, while the Telugu version contributed approximately Rs 4.23 crore. The film, reportedly made on a budget of Rs 18 crore, is said to have crossed its theatrical breakeven target within the first few days of release.

The tracker also reported that the film has surpassed its stated theatrical breakeven target and moved into the profit zone. Despite the arrival of regular working days after the opening weekend, the film appears to be maintaining a stable hold at the box office.

About Blast

Directed by Subash K. Raj, Blast revolves around a middle-class family trained in martial arts whose lives take a dangerous turn after they encounter a violent gang. The story follows the family's struggle for survival as they are drawn into a series of confrontations involving action, emotional conflicts and unexpected developments.

The film features Arjun in the lead alongside Preity Mukundhan and Abhirami. The supporting cast also includes John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, and Pawan Krishnaa in key roles. Ravi Basrur composed the music, while Arun Radhakrishnan handled cinematography and Pradeep E. Ragav worked as editor.
