Con City Box Office Collection Day 3: Arjun Das' Film Crosses ₹3 Crore Mark In India, Registers Weekend Growth

Con City Box Office Collection Day 3: Con City, starring Arjun Das in the lead, continued its theatrical run with steady growth over its opening weekend. The Tamil comedy-crime family drama, which hit cinemas on June 26, recorded its highest single-day collection on Sunday (Day 3), taking its cumulative India net earnings past the ₹3 crore mark. As of Monday, June 29, the film has entered its fourth day in theatres.

According to estimates from box office tracking website Sacnilk, Con City collected ₹1.33 crore (India net) on its third day from 985 shows across the country. The film had opened with ₹0.75 crore on Friday before improving to ₹1.20 crore on Saturday. With Sunday's performance, the film's total India net collection now stands at ₹3.28 crore, while its India gross collection has reached ₹3.77 crore.

The film also witnessed a gradual improvement in theatre occupancy during its opening weekend. It recorded an overall occupancy of around 20% on its opening day, which increased to 25% on Saturday and further climbed to 26% on Sunday. The upward trend suggests that the film benefited from the weekend audience, although its weekday performance will now determine how well it sustains its run at the box office.

Con City: Plot And Cast

Directed and written by Harish Durairaj, Con City blends elements of comedy, crime and family drama. The story revolves around a family attempting to leave its troubled past behind. However, when a young boy named Jeeva is kidnapped, they are forced to confront old secrets and return to the life they had hoped to escape in order to rescue him.

The film features Arjun Das and Anna Ben in the lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Sakshi Vaidya, VTV Ganesh, Radha Ravi, Aruldoss, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramesh Thilak, Ponvannan, Shaji Chen, Dheepa Ramanujam, Imman Annachi, and several others.

Sean Roldan has composed the music for the film, while Aravind Viswanathan handled the cinematography. The editing has been carried out by Arul Moses. Con City has been produced by Power House Pictures in association with Maali & Manvi Movie Makers, Klout Studios and Silver Tree Studios.

With the opening weekend now complete, attention shifts to the film's Monday collections. The first weekday performance is expected to indicate whether Con City can maintain its momentum in theatres during the rest of its opening week.
