Gatta Kusthi 2 Vs Ratsasan Box Office Collection: Vishnu Vishal's latest release, Gatta Kusthi 2, has continued its steady theatrical run after hitting cinemas on July 3. The Tamil sports romantic comedy-drama has completed five days at the global box office and, according to industry tracker Ramesh Bala, has reportedly become the highest-grossing film of Vishnu Vishal's career after surpassing the lifetime worldwide collections of Ratsasan. As of Wednesday, July 8, the film is in the midst of its sixth day in theatres.

In a post on X, industry tracker Ramesh Bala said that Gatta Kusthi 2 surpassed the lifetime worldwide collections of Ratsasan within five days of its theatrical release. The tracker also noted that the film has entered the ₹25 crore worldwide gross club and is now aiming for the ₹50 crore milestone if it maintains its current momentum.

The update further highlighted that the film has remained stable during the weekdays, collecting more than ₹2 crore gross in Tamil Nadu on both Monday and Tuesday. Such weekday consistency is generally considered an encouraging sign for a theatrical release, especially after the opening weekend.
