Kara WW Box Office Day 11 Crosses 55 Cr

Directed by Vignesh Raja, Kara has recorded most of its collections from Tamil Nadu, while overseas markets have also contributed to its overall total. However, the latest trade estimates suggest that the film's box office momentum has slowed after the second weekend.

According to figures shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty through an X post on May 11, the film has earned around Rs 55.82 crore worldwide by the end of Day 11. Of this, the domestic gross reportedly stands at Rs 45.36 crore, while the overseas market has contributed approximately $1.10 million, which converts to nearly Rs 10.46 crore.

Tamil Nadu remains the film's strongest territory with an estimated gross of Rs 30.78 crore. The Telugu-speaking states have contributed around Rs 9.53 crore, followed by Karnataka with Rs 4.06 crore. In Kerala, the film has reportedly collected around Rs 68 lakh, while the rest of India contributed about Rs 31 lakh.

The tracker further suggested that the film's worldwide theatrical share currently stands at around Rs 26.40 crore. The post also stated that the film has reportedly recovered around 53 per cent of its theatrical rights value by the end of the second weekend, while noting that a stronger hold over the next two weeks would be important for achieving theatrical break-even.

Kara is said to have been mounted on a budget of around Rs 100 crore, while its worldwide theatrical rights value has reportedly been estimated at Rs 50 crore.
