Karuppu Advance Booking Update: Suriya And Trisha Starrer Crosses ₹1 Crore In Tamil Nadu Pre-Sales

Karuppu Advance Booking Update: Advance bookings for Karuppu, the upcoming Tamil action drama starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, have continued to record steady movement in Tamil Nadu ahead of the film's theatrical release on May 14, 2026.

Directed by RJ Balaji, the film opened advance bookings in Tamil Nadu on the evening of May 10 at 7 PM. Since ticket sales began, the movie has reportedly shown consistent growth in pre-sales across major centres in the state.

According to a booking update shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty on X on May 11, Karuppu crossed the ₹1 crore mark in Tamil Nadu advance bookings within approximately 20 hours and 28 minutes of ticket sales opening. The tracker also mentioned that the film's all-India real-time advance booking total for Day 1 had reached around ₹1.30 crore as of 3:29 PM on May 11.

The latest update comes just hours after the tracker reported that the film had crossed ₹75 lakh in Tamil Nadu pre-sales within the first 15 hours of bookings opening. With three more days left before release, the advance booking trend is expected to continue evolving across Tamil Nadu and other markets.

Karuppu Cast And Technical Crew

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Karuppu features a cast that includes RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.

The screenplay has been co-written by RJ Balaji along with Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar. Music for the film has been composed by Sai Abhyankkar, while cinematography is handled by G. K. Vishnu. Editing duties are being overseen by R. Kalaivanan.

The technical crew also includes production designer Arun Venjaramoodu, stunt choreographers Anbariv and Vikram Mor, and sound mixer Kannan Ganpat.

With only a few days remaining before release, industry observers are expected to closely monitor the film's booking pace in Tamil Nadu as well as its performance in other territories during the final phase of advance sales.
