Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 19: Suriya Film Crosses ₹186 Crore India Net, Nears ₹300 Crore Worldwide

Karuppu Box Office Collection: Suriya-starrer Karuppu continues to add to its box office total nearly three weeks after its release. The Tamil fantasy action drama, which hit theatres on May 15, 2026, remained in circulation across several markets on its 19th day and is now closing in on the ₹300 crore milestone worldwide.

According to figures reported by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Karuppu earned an estimated ₹2.05 crore net in India on Day 19, which fell on Tuesday, June 2. The collection came from 3,003 shows across the country.

With the latest addition, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹186.90 crore. Its India gross earnings currently stand at approximately ₹216.10 crore.

The film opened strongly during its first weekend and maintained a steady pace through its initial weeks. It collected ₹15.50 crore on its opening day before recording higher numbers over the first Saturday and Sunday. By the end of its first week, Karuppu had accumulated ₹113.85 crore in India net collections.

The second week added another ₹54.30 crore to its tally, helping the film comfortably cross several box office milestones. While collections have naturally slowed during the third week, the movie continues to register daily earnings and retain screens across key territories.

On Day 19, the Tamil version remained the primary revenue driver. The Tamil edition contributed ₹1.65 crore net from 2,048 shows and recorded an occupancy of around 19 percent. The Telugu dubbed version, released under the title Veerabhadrudu, added ₹0.40 crore net from 955 shows, with occupancy estimated at 17 percent.

The film has also maintained a notable presence overseas. Reports indicate that Karuppu collected approximately ₹0.50 crore from international markets on Day 19. This takes its overseas gross collection to ₹78.75 crore.

Combining domestic and overseas revenues, the film's worldwide gross collection has now reached ₹294.85 crore. With Day 20 collections currently underway on June 3, the film is moving closer to the ₹300 crore worldwide mark.

Karuppu Cast and Crew

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu features Suriya in the lead role alongside Trisha Krishnan and RJ Balaji. The supporting cast includes Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy. The screenplay was developed by RJ Balaji along with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film has music by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography by G. K. Vishnu and editing by R. Kalaivanan. As the film completes nearly three weeks in theatres, attention will now be on whether it can cross the ₹300 crore worldwide milestone in the coming days.
