Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 4 Early Updates: After facing a brief setback due to cancelled shows, Suriya's highly anticipated film Karuppu finally hit cinemas on May 17 amid massive buzz and sky-high expectations. Directed by RJ Balaji, the Tamil action drama also stars Trisha Krishnan alongside Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu.

The film witnessed a solid start at the box office and enjoyed a strong opening weekend driven by fan frenzy, positive word-of-mouth and impressive occupancy across Tamil Nadu. As expected, Karuppu has now recorded its first noticeable dip on Monday. However, the early Day 4 trend suggests that the film is still holding steady and continues to dominate ticket counters in the South market.

Karuppu Box Office Collection Opening Weekend (Day 3)

Starring Suriya in the lead, Karuppu kickstarted its theatrical run on a strong note and collected ₹15.50 cr on its opening day. The Tamil action drama witnessed impressive growth over the weekend, and on Sunday (May 17), the film recorded a 17.4% jump in collections, earning an estimated ₹28.35 cr net in India.

With this, Karuppu wrapped up its opening weekend with an estimated India gross collection of ₹78.75 cr, while its total India net collection stands at around ₹68 crore after three days in India.

Karuppu 4 Days Collection Early Trend (Monday)

Amid the strong buzz surrounding the film, Karuppu is currently undergoing its crucial first Monday test today (May 18). According to real-time Sacnilk trends, the Suriya starrer has managed to earn an estimated ₹4.27 cr net in India so far (till 5:00 PM) on Day 4.

With this, the film's total India gross collection has reportedly reached around ₹83.79 cr, while the total India net collection now stands at approximately ₹72.27 cr. The final Monday numbers are still expected to rise further as the complete night show data is yet to be reported.

Despite the expected weekday drop after a strong opening weekend, Karuppu continues to maintain a decent hold at the box office, especially across key South Indian markets.

As per Sacnilk trends, Kanguva had earned only ₹3.15 crore net in India on its first Monday.
