Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya And Trisha Krishnan Film Crosses ₹82 Crore India Net
Karuppu Box Office Collection: Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, continued its theatrical run on Monday, May 18, after posting strong numbers over its opening weekend. The Tamil action drama, which hit theatres worldwide on May 15, witnessed a dip in collections on its first weekday but still managed to add notable figures to its overall tally.

According to estimates published by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, the film earned around ₹14.30 crore net in India on Day 4. With this, the total India net collection of the film has reached approximately ₹82.30 crore. The India gross collection currently stands at ₹95.30 crore.
The overseas market also contributed to the film's performance on Monday. The movie reportedly collected around ₹4 crore overseas on its fourth day, taking the total international gross to ₹46 crore. Combined with domestic figures, the worldwide gross collection has now touched ₹141.30 crore.
The film opened with ₹15.50 crore net in India on its first Friday and saw growth over the weekend. On Saturday, collections rose to ₹24.15 crore, while Sunday emerged as the strongest day so far with ₹28.35 crore net. Monday's decline came as the film moved from its opening weekend into the regular weekday cycle.
In terms of occupancy, the film recorded an overall 40 percent occupancy across India on Monday. The Tamil version remained the major contributor, collecting ₹12.10 crore net with an occupancy of 46 percent across 4,235 shows. The Telugu dubbed version added ₹2.20 crore net from 1,712 shows and registered an occupancy of 25 percent.
Karuppu Cast and Technical Team
Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu has been produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The screenplay was co-written by RJ Balaji along with Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.
Apart from Suriya and Trisha, the film also features Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy in important roles. Music for the film has been composed by Sai Abhyankkar, while cinematography has been handled by G. K. Vishnu. Editing is by R. Kalaivanan.
As the film enters Day 5 on Tuesday, trade observers will be watching whether Karuppu can maintain steady momentum during the weekdays before its second weekend begins.
