Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: After several shows were reportedly cancelled ahead of release, Suriya's much-awaited film Karuppu finally arrived in theatres on May 17 amid enormous fan frenzy and massive expectations. Helmed by RJ Balaji, the Tamil action entertainer features Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu in key roles.
The film has been performing positively since its opening day and has now crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone globally within just five days.
Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 4 (First Monday)
Headlined by Suriya, Karuppu began its theatrical run on a solid note by minting ₹15.50 crore on the opening day. After a massive weekend, the film witnessed the expected weekday slowdown on its first Monday, registering a drop of nearly 49.6% in collections.
However, despite the dip, the action drama continued to dominate ticket windows and maintained a strong hold across several centres. According to Sacnilk, Karuppu earned around ₹14.30 cr on Monday through nearly 5,947 shows nationwide.
With this, the film's total India gross collection has reportedly climbed to ₹95.30 cr, while its India net total now stands at an impressive ₹82.30 cr within just four days of release.
Karuppu 5 Days Collection Early Trend (Tuesday)
Suriya's Karuppu has officially entered the prestigious ₹100 cr club today (May 19), continuing its dream run at the box office despite the weekday slowdown.
According to Sacnilk's real-time estimates, the Tamil action drama added nearly ₹5.56 crore net till 6 PM on Tuesday. With the latest numbers, Karuppu's total India gross collection has climbed to an impressive ₹101.86 cr, while the overall India net collection now stands at approximately ₹87.86 cr. The final Day 5 figures are still awaited and are expected to rise further by the end of the day.

Karuppu Vs Indian 2 Box Office
Suriya's Karuppu has now raced past the lifetime India box office collections of Kamal Haasan's 2024 release Indian 2, marking another major achievement for the action drama.
According to trade tracking reports, Indian 2, directed by S. Shankar, had wrapped up its theatrical run with an India gross collection of around ₹95.90 cr, while its India net total stood at approximately ₹81.39 cr.
