Karuppu Box Office Collection Prediction Day 4: Will Suriya's Film Pass The Monday Test After Strong Weekend?

Karuppu Box Office Collection Prediction: The Tamil action drama Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, entered its first weekday at the box office on Monday, May 18, after posting strong numbers during its opening weekend. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film has maintained momentum since its theatrical release on May 15 and is now being closely watched for its Day 4 performance.

According to live figures reported by box office tracking website Sacnilk, Karuppu had collected an estimated ₹1.31 crore net in India on Monday at the time of reporting. The figures are still being updated and the final Day 4 total is expected to change as evening and night show collections are added.

The film is currently running across 1,581 shows nationwide and has registered an overall occupancy of 25.6 percent so far on Monday. The Tamil version continues to contribute the majority of the collections, accounting for approximately ₹1.12 crore net from 1,110 shows with around 28.0 percent occupancy. The Telugu dubbed version has reportedly earned ₹0.19 crore from 471 shows.

With the latest live estimates, Karuppu's India net collection stands at ₹69.31 crore, while the India gross has touched approximately ₹80.30 crore. Trade observers are now monitoring whether the film can maintain stable weekday footfalls following its strong weekend trend.

The film had opened with ₹15.50 crore net on Friday before recording steady growth over the weekend. Collections increased to ₹24.15 crore on Saturday and further rose to ₹28.35 crore on Sunday. The upward trend during the first three days helped the film post one of the stronger opening weekends for a Tamil release this year.

Karuppu Eyes Stable Weekday Hold After Strong Opening Weekend

Industry tracker Ramesh Bala also shared box office updates on X on Monday morning, stating that Karuppu had crossed the ₹50 crore mark in Tamil Nadu and had moved beyond ₹100 crore worldwide. In another update posted later in the day, he claimed the film had crossed ₹125 crore gross globally within three days and was heading towards the ₹150 crore mark.

While weekday drops are common after a strong opening weekend, Monday collections are generally seen as an indicator of how well a film can sustain its theatrical run in the coming days. The final Day 4 numbers for Karuppu are expected to provide a clearer picture of its hold at the box office.
