Karuppu FDFS Time Tamil Nadu: The makers of Karuppu, the upcoming Tamil action drama starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, have confirmed the first-day-first-show timing in Tamil Nadu ahead of the film's theatrical release on May 14, 2026. The announcement was made by production banner Dream Warrior Pictures through its official X account on May 12.

According to the statement shared online, the Tamil Nadu government has granted permission for special 9 AM shows for the film on release day. The production house thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay for approving the request for the special shows.

The post read that the "FDFS begins at 9 AM from May 14th," confirming that audiences in Tamil Nadu will be able to watch the film through the specially permitted 9 AM shows.

Karuppu Cast, Crew, and Release Details

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 14. The filmmaker has also co-written the screenplay along with Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan, and Karan Aravind Kumar.

Apart from Suriya and Trisha, the cast includes RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The film is backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, with S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu serving as producers.

The technical crew includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu and editor R. Kalaivanan, while the music has been composed by Sai Abhyankkar. Action choreography for the project has been handled by stunt teams Anbariv and Vikram Mor.

The film has generated attention in recent weeks following the release of its promotional material and the collaboration between Suriya and RJ Balaji. With the release now less than a day away, the confirmation of special morning shows has further added to the anticipation among fans planning to watch the film on opening day.

Karuppu will hit theatres across India and overseas on Wednesday, May 14, 2026.
