Karuppu Tamil Nadu Box Office Collection: The Tamil fantasy action drama Karuppu, starring Suriya in the lead role, has crossed a major milestone at the Tamil Nadu box office during its second weekend in theatres. According to the latest update shared by the makers, the film has grossed more than ₹130 crore in Tamil Nadu within 10 days of release.

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu was released worldwide on May 15, 2026. The film recorded a solid opening across Tamil Nadu and continued its theatrical run steadily through the weekdays before witnessing another jump during its second weekend. Day 11 collections are currently underway on Monday, May 25.

Production banner Dream Warrior Pictures announced the latest box office update through its official social media handle, confirming that the film had crossed the ₹130 crore gross mark in Tamil Nadu alone. The poster shared by the production house described the film's Tamil Nadu box office performance as "historic" after it crossed the ₹130 crore mark within 10 days of release.

Karuppu Film Details

Apart from Suriya, the film features Trisha Krishnan and RJ Balaji in key roles. The supporting cast includes Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada and Supreeth Reddy. The Telugu dubbed version of the film was released under the title Veerabhadrudu.

Karuppu blends fantasy and courtroom drama elements, with the story revolving around a guardian deity who takes the form of a lawyer to confront corruption within the legal system. The narrative centres on a young girl awaiting a liver transplant and the challenges she faces due to systemic exploitation. The film's screenplay was co-written by RJ Balaji along with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.

The technical crew includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan and music composer Sai Abhyankkar, whose soundtrack has also drawn attention alongside the film's theatrical performance.
