Karuppu Tamil Nadu Box Office Collection Prediction: Suriya-starrer Karuppu continues its strong run at the Tamil Nadu box office nearly a month after its theatrical release. The fantasy action drama, directed by RJ Balaji, is currently in its 25th day in cinemas, and trade trackers expect the film to move beyond the Rs 165 crore gross mark in the state on Monday, June 8.

Released worldwide on May 15, 2026, Karuppu opened to considerable attention and has managed to sustain audience interest through its fourth week. According to trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty, the film had collected an estimated Rs 164.74 crore gross from Tamil Nadu alone by the end of its 24-day run. Based on its performance over the fourth Sunday, the film is projected to cross Rs 165 crore in the state during Day 25.

The tracker reported that Karuppu earned around Rs 1.93 crore gross on its fourth Sunday in Tamil Nadu, registering a noticeable jump compared to the previous day's collection. While the figures are trade estimates and not official numbers from the producers, they indicate that the film has maintained a steady hold despite entering its fourth week in theatres.

Trade estimates further suggest that the film's distributor share in Tamil Nadu stands at approximately Rs 76.67 crore. According to the tracker, the theatrical rights were valued at around Rs 40 crore, meaning the estimated distributor share has surpassed the reported rights value. However, official collection figures from the makers are still awaited.

What Is Karuppu About? Story, Cast, and Crew

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu blends fantasy and courtroom drama elements. The story revolves around Binu and her father Sukumaran, who travel from Kerala to Chennai carrying gold intended to finance a crucial liver transplant. Their plans are thrown into disarray when the valuables are stolen during the journey. As they struggle to navigate a corrupt and inefficient legal system, a mysterious lawyer named Saravanan steps in to help them seek justice.

The film features Suriya in the lead role alongside Trisha Krishnan and RJ Balaji. The supporting cast includes Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy. The project has been produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, with music composed by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography by G. K. Vishnu and editing by R. Kalaivanan.

Apart from its Tamil release, the film was also released in Telugu under the title Veerabhadrudu.
