Karuppu Worldwide Box Office Collection Prediction: The worldwide theatrical run of Karuppu continued on a strong note as the film moved closer to a major global milestone during its second weekend. Starring Suriya in the lead role, the Tamil fantasy action drama released worldwide on May 15, 2026, and has now completed nine days in theatres. Day 10 collections are currently underway on Sunday, May 24.

According to figures shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty through an X post published on May 24, the film has grossed around ₹227.27 crore worldwide in its first nine days. The reported domestic total stands at approximately ₹166.86 crore, while overseas earnings are estimated at about $6.31 million, which translates to roughly ₹60.38 crore.

Among the Indian markets, Tamil Nadu has emerged as the biggest contributor with approximately ₹108.70 crore gross so far. The Telugu states have added around ₹25.47 crore, while Karnataka contributed nearly ₹18.29 crore. Kerala collections reportedly stand at ₹11.80 crore, with the rest of India contributing approximately ₹2.60 crore.

The tracker further stated that the film's worldwide theatrical share is estimated to be around ₹108.24 crore against a reported break-even value of ₹70 crore. Based on the trade figures shared online, the film has already crossed the recovery stage and is said to have generated estimated theatrical profits of over ₹38 crore globally.

The report also noted that all major distribution territories are currently in profit, including Tamil Nadu. Trade observers are now watching whether the film can move closer to the ₹250 crore worldwide mark during its ongoing second weekend.

However, the tracker also clarified that the figures mentioned are trade estimates and may not fully match the final producer-reported numbers. According to the tracker, the official worldwide gross for the first nine days is expected to be in the ₹242 crore to ₹247 crore range.

Karuppu Story, Cast And Technical Crew

Directed by RJ Balaji, the film blends fantasy and courtroom drama elements. The Telugu dubbed version was released under the title Veerabhadrudu. The story follows a guardian deity who disguises himself as a lawyer to take on corruption within the judicial system while trying to help a young girl in need of a liver transplant.

Alongside Suriya, the cast includes Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy.

The film has been produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The technical crew includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan, and music composer Sai Abhyankkar.

With Sunday collections still in progress, the coming days are expected to determine how close the film can get to the next worldwide box office milestone.
