LIK Vs Dude Vs Dragon Box Office Collection Day 4: Pradeep Ranganathan's Latest Lags Behind His Earlier Films
LIK Vs Dude Vs Dragon Box Office Collection: Pradeep Ranganathan's latest release Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) has completed four days at the box office, with early trends indicating a steady but comparatively modest run when placed alongside the actor's previous films, Dude and Dragon. While the film opened on a healthy note over its first weekend, a visible drop on Monday has slowed its momentum.

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, Love Insurance Kompany hit theatres on April 10 after multiple postponements. The film, which blends science fiction with romance and comedy, features Pradeep alongside S. J. Suryah and Krithi Shetty.
According to box office tracking site Sacnilk, the film collected ₹3 crore (India net) on Day 4 (Monday), taking its total India net to ₹25.50 crore. Its India gross stands at ₹29.50 crore. Overseas, the film added ₹0.70 crore on Monday, pushing its international total to ₹10 crore. As a result, the worldwide gross collection has reached ₹39.50 crore by the end of Day 4.
The film's performance shows a typical weekday decline after a weekend that brought in over ₹22 crore net. Occupancy levels also dropped to around 20 percent on Monday, reflecting the slowdown. In terms of language-wise contribution, the Tamil version continues to dominate, contributing the majority share of collections.
However, when compared to Pradeep Ranganathan's earlier 2025 releases, LIK is currently lagging behind. Dude, which released during the Diwali window last year, had a significantly stronger hold on Day 4. The romantic action-comedy earned ₹10.80 crore on its first Monday alone, taking its India net total to ₹41.55 crore by the end of four days. Its worldwide gross at the same point stood at ₹66.17 crore, nearly ₹27 crore ahead of LIK.
Similarly, Dragon, a coming-of-age comedy drama released in February 2025, also maintained a better pace in its opening phase. The film collected ₹5.80 crore on Day 4, with a cumulative India net of ₹35.85 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹57.37 crore. Compared to this, LIK remains behind by a noticeable margin both domestically and globally.
LIK Faces Crucial Week Ahead As Trends Remain Mixed
Despite the gap, Love Insurance Kompany is still in its early theatrical run, and its performance over the weekdays and the upcoming weekend will be crucial in determining its trajectory. The film's concept, centred on a futuristic device that allows time travel and a fictional system where relationships are managed like insurance policies, has drawn attention, though its box office trend suggests a more measured audience response so far.
With Day 5 (Tuesday, April 14) numbers yet to be fully consolidated, trade observers will be watching closely to see whether the film stabilises or continues to face pressure during the weekdays.
