LIK Collection Day 7 Early Update: Pradeep's Film Fails To Hit 50Cr In Week 1; Did It Meet Budget Expectation?

LIK (Love Insurance Kompany) Box Office Collection Day 7 Early Updates: Pradeep Ranganathan's latest film Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is set to complete its first week in theatres today (Thursday, April 16). The Tamil-language futuristic romantic comedy, which hit cinemas on April 10, will be entering its second week from tomorrow.

The film opened to a fairly strong buzz and managed to draw attention during its initial days. However, after the opening weekend, the momentum appears to have slowed down.

Featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, S. J. Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Yogi Babu and Seeman, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) kickstarted its theatrical run with a solid opening day collection of ₹7.05 cr.

The film held well over the opening weekend and maintained decent momentum initially. However, the pace slowed down during the weekdays. On Day 6 (Wednesday, April 15), the film recorded a sharp 53% drop in collections.

As per Sacnilk, the Tamil entertainer earned around ₹1.95 crore on Day 6, taking its total India net collection to ₹31.60 cr. The film's overall gross stood at approximately ₹36.52 cr after six days in theatres.

LIK 7 Days Collection Early Trend (First Week)

Pradeep Ranganathan's Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is continuing its slow run on Day 7 as well. According to real-time Sacnilk data, the film has so far earned around ₹0.77 cr net till 7:00 PM, failing to cross the ₹50 cr mark in its first week.

With this, the total India net collection stands at approximately ₹32.37 cr, while the overall gross has reached around ₹37.42 cr so far. The final Day 7 numbers are still awaited.

As per multiple reports, the film is mounted on an estimated budget of ₹60 cr. Going by the current trend, LIK is unlikely to recover its budget within the first week of its theatrical run.
