Love Insurance Kompany Box Office Day 3 (Early Update): Love Insurance Kompany, a science fiction romantic comedy film, is drawing strong attention as Pradeep Ranganathan's first release of 2026. Directed by Vignesh Sivan, the movie places technology, romance and control at the centre of a futuristic love story. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan, S. J. Suryah and Krithi Shetty in lead roles. The film is set in 2040, where an all-powerful dating app uses artificial intelligence and "Love Scores" to decide who forms couples and who stays apart. Within this world, the narrative follows Vas, played by Pradeep Ranganathan, and Dheema, portrayed by Krithi Shetty. The app flags their relationship as incompatible, which drives Vas to challenge predictive technology and defend messy, deeply personal emotions. Earlier, Pradeep impressed audiences in Dragon and Dude in 2025.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Love Insurance Kompany, which earned Rs 7.95cr on day 2, has been maintaining a steady hold at the box office and has earned Rs 6.31cr on day 3 (first Sunday) until 7:30 pm. Given the trend, the movie is expected to mint Rs 25cr during the opening weekend

Love Insurance Kompany To Fail To Beat Dude On Opening Weekend

If the reports are to be believed, Love Insurance Kompany is expected to fail to beat the opening weekend collection of Pradeep's previous release Dude which minted Rs 30.75cr in its first weekend.

Meanwhile, in conversation with host Suma Kanakala on YouWe Media, Pradeep was quizzed if he is hoping that LIK also becomes a hit that crosses the ₹100 crore mark. To this he replied, "I will be happy, but it is becoming pressure. Now they have kept my minimum box office (expectation) as ₹100 crore, and if it doesn't collect ₹100 crore, it does not mean that the film is not running well. More than the collection, I am happy if the film is good and they like it."
