According to a report published in Sacnilk, Mankatha witnessed a good start post re-release and saw a footfall of 50.19% during the morning shows until 12:30 PM. However, the collections from the morning shows hasn't been revealed yet

Mankatha Fails To Beat Vidaamuyarchi With A Huge Gap

Interestingly, with an occupancy of 50.19%, Mankatha has failed to beat Ajith Kumar's 2025 release Vidaamuyarchi which recorded a footfall of 58.81% to 64.08% in morning shows on its day of release.

Meanwhile, as there have been reports about Mankatha sequel, director Venkat Prabhu stated, "If Ajith says okay, I am ready. He was the one who said yes to Mankatha. He himself will decide about Mankatha 2".
