Parasakthi Tamil Nadu Box Office Collection Day 16

According to figures shared by box office tracking handle Cinetrak, Parasakthi recorded a weak third weekend in Tamil Nadu. Tracked cinemas reported collections of approximately ₹0.14 crore on the third Friday, followed by ₹0.23 crore on Saturday and ₹0.31 crore on Sunday. The total collection from 107 cinemas tracked through Cinetrak during the third weekend stands at around ₹0.68 crore. This marks a steep decline compared to the film's second-weekend performance.

Based on tracked data, the film's total collection in Tamil Nadu after 16 days is estimated at ₹45.2 crore. Trade estimates suggest that actual gross figures in the state could be closer to ₹53.5 crore.

Parasakthi Overview and Ongoing Box Office Performance

Directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Aakash Bhaskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, Parasakthi is set against the socio-political landscape of Tamil Nadu in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The narrative follows two brothers who become involved, at different stages of their lives, in movements opposing language-based policies. The story traces the rise of a student-led agitation, its eventual suppression, and the personal consequences faced by those involved. Through their divergent paths, the film explores themes of ideology, generational transition, and the cost of political resistance.

The film's technical crew includes music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran, and editing by Sathish Suriya. The ensemble cast also features Dev Ramnath, Prithvi Rajan, Guru Somasundaram, Basil Joseph, and Papri Ghosh in supporting roles.

While Parasakthi benefitted from a strong opening during the Pongal holiday window, collections have tapered steadily over the weeks. With January 26 being a public holiday, trade observers are now looking at how the film performs once regular working days resume.
