Parimala and Co Box Office Collection: Parimala and Co, the Tamil black comedy thriller featuring Jayaram and Urvashi in prominent roles, has begun its theatrical run with its first-day box office collections now available. Written and directed by Pandiraaj, the film was released in cinemas on June 5 and opened across Tamil Nadu and other markets.

According to figures reported by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Parimala and Co earned an estimated ₹1.60 crore net in India on its opening day. The film was screened across 1,238 shows and registered an overall occupancy of around 25 percent on Friday.

With its first-day earnings accounted for, the film's cumulative India net collection currently stands at ₹1.60 crore. Its India gross collection has reached approximately ₹1.84 crore.

As of June 6, the film has entered its second day in cinemas, with Saturday collections currently in progress. The weekend trend is expected to provide a clearer indication of how the film performs during its opening phase at the box office.

The film centres on a troubled family whose complicated personal dynamics place them at the centre of an unexpected crisis. A murder connected to their household turns the family into key suspects, setting off a chain of events that combines mystery, dark humour and family drama.

The narrative unfolds through a series of unpredictable situations involving the family members as they attempt to navigate suspicion, interpersonal conflicts and the consequences of events surrounding the crime investigation.

Parimala And Co features an ensemble cast that includes Jayaram, Urvashi, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sandy, Santosh Sobhan, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Ananthika Sanilkumar. The project is written and directed by Pandiraaj, who is also associated with the production of the film.

The film is backed by Lyca Productions and Pasanga Productions, with Subaskaran and Pandiraaj serving as producers. Cinematography has been handled by George C. Williams, while Foxn has composed the film's music and background score.
