Pizza 4 Movie Update: The Pizza franchise is set to return with another installment. On June 30, the makers officially introduced Pizza 4 through a motion poster, confirming that work has begun on the latest installment in the Tamil horror-thriller franchise. While several details have now been revealed, many aspects of the film, including its release date, are yet to be announced.

Pizza 4 Has Been Officially Launched

The production team unveiled a motion poster to announce the fourth film in the franchise. Along with the announcement, the makers described the project as a new chapter that will revolve around mystery, suspense and horror elements, continuing the tone associated with the Pizza series.

The film is written by C. V. Kumar, while Sreesh Vijay is directing the project with dialogues by Yogaraj K. The film is being produced under the Thirukumaran Entertainment banner by C. V. Kumar, who has been associated with the Pizza franchise since its inception. Sivakumar has been named as the executive producer for the upcoming film.

Pizza 4: Prajin Leads The Cast

Actor Prajin, known to television audiences and also recognized for his appearance on Bigg Boss Tamil, has been confirmed as the lead actor in Pizza 4. Social media personality Hussain is also part of the cast. The makers have not yet disclosed the complete lineup of actors or details about their respective characters.

Pizza 4: Technical Crew

The announcement also introduced the technicians working on the project. Hariharan Anandharajah has been signed as the cinematographer, while P. K. will handle editing. Vignesh has been brought on board as the production designer. The sound department includes Tony J. as the audiographer, with sound design by Arul Mirugan and Aromaa Studios. The film's music will be released under the Sri Musiq label.

The Pizza series began in 2012 with Pizza, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan. The horror thriller received positive attention upon release and later expanded into a franchise. Its first follow-up, Pizza II: The Villa (2013), featured Ashok Selvan in the lead, while Pizza 3: The Mummy starred Ashwin Kakumanu. Each installment has introduced a different storyline while retaining horror and suspense as the central themes.

At present, the makers have only announced the launch of the project and introduced its principal cast and crew. Information regarding the remaining cast, first-look posters, teaser, trailer, music, and theatrical release schedule is expected in the future as production progresses.
